Our experience was soooo good and the food was excellent, Augustine was our  waiter and he was so so patient and personable. The lady had us dress up in Roman attire and took several pictures of us. I would highly recommend Caupano in Pompei Italy.

Caupona - Pompeii Restaurant

It is basically all you can eat buffet restaurant. Promotion is only applied when you choose to buy a dish from all you can eat dishes. Sushi quality is medicore at best. Ambience was nice. But, one staff looked quite impolite.

The pizza was good but the bruschetta was burnt and fries were cold. Average place.

Fantastic indoor decor frescos reminiscent of ancient Rome. Interesting menu based on ancient recipes but also regular pastas. Friendly service with atmosphere.  2nd time and will return.

I didn&#39;t realize how special this restaurant was when we decided on it, so was very pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the menu. We were able to eat types of food that we hadn&#39;t seen on our trip, and were definitely more traditional to early Pompeii, like venison. The addition of robes to wear for the whole family was just adorable, and even my teenagers thought it was fun.

We absolutely loved our evening at Caupona. When we arrived, they welcomed us in with warmth and immediately set about dressing my wife an I in traditional Pompeii dress. Our daughter was tired so didn&rsquo;t follow suit, but she did find it all very amusing!We then enjoyed a surprising menu of meats, vegetables and incredible tastes. My daughter, being five, enjoyed a tomato pasta dish, offered by our attentive waiter. The Pompeii local wine has a lovely Smokey taste to it and complemented the hearty food perfectly.Would highly recommend a visit!

This was such a fun evening, even though I was on my own. There was a warm welcome and you just have to enter into the spirit of dressing up! The service was very good, without being intrusive. The food was excellent, beautifully prepared, and arrived piping hot.

After watching Pompeo, turn right for 100 meters to the first place. The environment is very good. It is very emotional to eat under the shade of the trees. It is a bit noisy near the roadside car. A pizza and pasta and salmon are all better in Italy. The salmon taste is also good (just the comparison of Chinese food) overall is good, it is small expensive, the menu is more expensive than the surrounding shops
